Veterans Disability Benefits Attorney in Macon, GA
Attorney Sarah E. White Park, a native of Douglas, Georgia, began her practice with Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley & Hinson, LLP in September 2011. She specializes in all aspects of Social Security and Disability Law, which include SSI and Disability Insurance for adults, children, widows and widowers, as well as claims for Veterans’ Disability Benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She works with clients through all stages of the adjudicative process from the administrative to the appellate levels, including Federal District Court appeals.
Sarah began specializing in Social Security law when she worked for the Social Security Administration in the Macon Office of Disability Adjudication and Review with Administrative Law Judges as an attorney decision writer. Additionally, she spent five years practicing insurance litigation.
Sarah’s passion for helping Veterans’ comes naturally. As the Granddaughter of a World War II Vet, she understands the hardships and difficulties that can arise when trying to get the benefits they deserve for their service to our country.
Currently, she serves as president of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) whose mission is to advocate for improvements in Social Security disability programs and to ensure that individuals with disabilities applying for Social Security Disability and SSI benefits have access to highly qualified representation and receive fair decisions. She also serves as president of the Middle Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and remains active in the Macon Bar Association. Additionally she serves on the Board of Middle Georgia Justice, offering legal assistance to those who live below the poverty level and are experiencing financial hardships.
Sarah’s life outside the office revolves around her family. She and her husband Brannen Park are proud parents of twin girls. Her family attends Ingleside Baptist Church and the girls attend ACE Academy in Macon. Although Sarah has lived in Macon since 2002, she maintains ties to her hometown of Douglas, Georgia, representing clients throughout the state and the southeast region.
