Nathaniel E. “Nate” Edmonds is a partner with Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley & Hinson, LLP, where he devotes his practice exclusively to representing individuals and families who have been injured through the negligence of others. His practice focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, medical negligence, trucking accidents, premises liability, product liability, and complex litigation throughout Georgia.
Nate’s path to plaintiff’s litigation gives him a unique perspective that benefits every client he represents. He began his legal career as a general practitioner, handling a wide variety of cases that allowed him to develop extensive courtroom experience as a trial lawyer. He later worked as an insurance defense attorney, both in private practice and as in-house counsel for a national insurance company, defending the very types of claims he now pursues on behalf of injured individuals. That experience provides valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate, defend, and negotiate personal injury claims, allowing him to anticipate their strategies and advocate more effectively for his clients.
Today, Nate is dedicated exclusively to helping injury victims pursue the compensation they deserve. Whether representing someone injured in a motor vehicle collision, trucking accident, slip and fall, medical malpractice case, dog bite claim, or another negligence matter, he believes every client deserves honest communication, thorough preparation, and aggressive advocacy. His goal is to help clients navigate the legal process with confidence while pursuing the best possible outcome for their case.
Nate has quickly earned recognition within Georgia’s legal community for his skill and dedication. He has been selected to Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Stars each year from 2020 through 2026, an honor recognizing outstanding young attorneys in the state. He is active in the Macon Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court, demonstrating his commitment to continued professional development and service to the legal profession.
Originally from Mount Airy, Georgia, Nate earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics, with a minor in Finance, from Kennesaw State University before receiving his Juris Doctor from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2013 and is admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia.
Outside the office, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife, who is also an attorney, and their three children. He is proud to serve clients throughout Georgia while remaining active in the Middle Georgia community he calls home.
