Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley & Hinson, L.L.P recently helped provide 160 meals to the ICU units at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. This donation was part of the Feed the Fight program where groups (like our firm) donate meals from local restaurants to those medical providers fighting against COVID-19.
Feed the Fight is a program that was created by the Navicent Health Foundation (NHF) in an effort to help both healthcare workers and local businesses. Ellen Terrell, president of NHF, explains:
This is a difficult time for our community, and people want to know how to help. Feed the Fight not only supports our caregivers, but also provides our local restaurants immediate financial help that we hope will have a lasting impact until they can re-open their doors.
Fountain of Juice was Westmoreland Law’s sponsoring restaurant that provided lunches for the ICU staff. Fountain of Juice is a local restaurant that was started by a husband and wife team in 2007. What started as a small juice and smoothie bar in a gym has blossomed into a community favorite.
Our firm is happy to continue to support programs like Feed the Fight and others to help our community during the coronavirus pandemic!
Westmoreland Law stands committed to fighting and has a coronavirus response plan in place.
